At The Training Fix, it is our constant goal to help each client leave our facility feeling better than when they came in. We hope to instill a level of body awareness in each client to give them a better understanding of what helps them move and feel better. We specialize in Corrective Exercise & Strength Training.
The Training Fix has transformed into a cutting edge semi –private training facility. We are not your average gym. Our training programs have helped individuals from all over the area accomplish their goals of eliminating pain, increasing strength, weight loss, and improved energy levels throughout the day.
Posture and Movement assessment: Each client is individually assessed on their posture and movement so we can create unique programs that will improve vitality and strength. Correcting poor posture and cleaning up faulty movement patterns is our specialty. This gives clients the opportunity to eliminate pain, increase mobility and stability, and improve their strength.
Postural Analysis, and Functional Movement Screening: Before starting an exercise program each client will be taken through a thorough Postural Analysis, and Functional Movement Screening. These detailed assessments are essential in providing us with the necessary information regarding what is going on within each clients body. Eliminating poor posture and cleaning up faulty movement patterns are the key to a successful exercise program. Corrective exercise programs are then created to directly address each client’s needs.
Strength Training: The next step is to introduce functional daily movements such a squatting, bending, lunging, pushing, pulling, and rotating into the exercise program. These strength exercises are much more easily reached after creating stability in the body from the previous corrective programs. To improve strength we use a number of tools in the studio such as kettlebells, cable machines, tubing, bands, stability balls, etc. All of our trainers are constantly partaking in continuing education courses to keep programs exciting and different, but always sticking with our primary goal of getting strong with basic movements.
